I have a 50 amp hook up where I store my unit, I just was not sure if it was ok to leave the fridge on all the time or turn on when needed

fridge clean out

Hi all, So I made a mess and now I am not sure what the best way to clean it up is, We got back from a week long trip and cleaned out the fiver but when I moved it to the storage area I forgot to go in and crack the fridge doors, to allow it to air out. I went to go turn the fridge on today and the entire fridge is covered in mold, I know I could just spray bleach on it and clean it but I wanted to know if there were any better tips. I think from now on I will just leave the fridge on, I heard that this was ok and would help with the life span of the fridge.

RE: need info on bristol bay

We have a Bristol Bay (not the same model) but I can tell you about the quality of our fiver. Since we bought it in Feb 08 we have be in it for a total of 65 nights of camping, we have had a few small things go wrong, a small water leak from the pump, the wood trim around a door came off and our bath door was not hung right and would not latch. All of the items were warranty and were fixed otherwise we love our B.B. and get tons of comments on what a nice unit it is. if you want any more details just PM me and I will do my best to help.

RE: Montana Bunk House 4slider

we looked at this bunkhouse too, the one thing that we did not like is the amount of storage space in the bunk house. it seemed to be very roomy, and overall aperance was nice, look around though we bought our 3420 for about the same price as the montana.

RE: Bristol Bay 3420bh

I have the 3420BH, and we love it, I have two younger children and it has tons of room for them and thier stuff. We went with my parents for a week to williamsburg, and they loved the 2nd bedroom layout they had room and some privicy, plus they said the air bed in the couch was the most comfortable couch bed that they had slept in. When we were gone for a month the only thing that I did not like is when the living room slide is in you can't get to the pantry, but wiht all the other storage you just have to plan it out. If you want more details pm and I will answer any question you may have.

RE: Why a 5'er??

In Feb. of this year I went from a t.t. to a fiver and wish that I had made the chage ealier, I will say that my only problem is I can,t go some places that we use to go because of the hieght, however that is a small price to pay for the room and ease of tow.

RE: DW wants a new 5er

I have both a f250 w/ a 7.3 and a f350 w/ 6.0 my 7.3 gets better milage but the 6.0 is a lot nicer to drive it is a lot more quite and has more pick up on the line, my 7.3 has a full Banks kit on it and the 6.0 is chiped and has cold air intake, bottom line the both have over 115,000 miles and I have not had any major problems. Do the services take care of them and work the heck out of them that is what they are for.

RE: Walmart more heart then KOA

I feel I need to add my 2 cents, We have stated at the KOA in cherokee nc several times and have had great times the people and grounds are nice but on one trip I broke a tooth on friday 4 hours after we got there I made it thru the night and left saturday in the morrning. The Manager came and help me and my family pack up and gave us a refund for both saturday and sunday. I known that they are high riced there but with 4 pools 3 playgrounds 3 lakes 1 river and everything else I think it is worth it. On the flip side I have also stayed at some trashed KOA's Kingman AZ. for example

voyager vs. P3

I have a voyager brake contoler and have been thinking of getting the P3 for my long 5week trip. My question is is it worth spending the money on a brake contorler when I have one that works, I really just dont like how it works with my new fiver.

RE: And the search for the perfect bunk house continues....

Sorry, I took the price from RVW to my local dealer as a starting point. Like I said I did pay a little more but right in your price range.
